Oh man Hong Kong is gorgeous! I can't wait to inhale the fishy air and take photos. I'll be there for nearly a month. The friend I'm staying with lives an adventurous lifestyle, so expect beautiful photos and curious posts.

Eva, I just spilled water out of my mouth after the Tae Hun comment. I feel Tae should have his own blog, filled with pictures of himself, both taken by friends such as yourself, and of course the requisite sel-cas. The name of the blog? "My name is Narcissus Kim." Or, if he's really smart, he can call himself Ozymandias. =P

The interesting thing is that Tae Hun is more attractive by Western standards than by Korean standards. Korean girls at work aren't amazed by him.
In Korea, a small-ish face, "high nose", small mouth and big eyes are considered more attractive.
yea iv noticed that too about western women thinking some asian guys are absolutely beautiful but other asians think they are just average, like my chinese friend who goes out with this guy who i and others with a western perspective think is absolutely perfect\so hot but my chinese friend and her chinese friends think hes just average, nothing special. To me its cos of his perfect skin, maybe his baby face look, great style etc, not really sure why hes just average to other asians
Yeah, same for guys. A lot of western men think Lucy Lui is hot, but most asian men would think she's just okay or very average.
China is awesome...SO AWESOME. The Chinese population is already one fifth of the population of the world and is rapidly expanding its presence everywhere.Knowing the Chinese language will enable you to communicate better with Chinese speaking people and provide you with a better understanding of Chinese culture.

There's not a place in the world that you could go to which is as unique and different as the far east. I bought an English / Chinese dictionary and after 2 months i could speak about 10 different words, oh well... :)
