Two... Three... Five....

I thought there was something strange about my hogwon: private school's elevator. The number 4 is considered unlucky because it sounds like the Korean word for death. Hotels rarely have a fourth floor and hospitals never do!

    Do they have thirteenth floors? I find it strange that even in brand new buildings, westerners rarely label the thirteenth floor.

    I don't think I've ever been as high as the 13th floor in Korea! Strange, since buildings are stacked like Leggo here ; )
